Lights in the Midst of Darkness

By Esther Chinyere Iwuji
Seeing a vision …
. . .And I saw cities positioned on a hill,
A people who’s ways are salty.
They were preservatives of truth, children of light.
Mark the man who’s ways are not faulty.
For a light to shine in this world,
It will be born in darkness.
For you to be an overcomer,
Your circumstances must be parlous.
Like Christ in the midst of the worldly religious,
Who turned out to only be heartless.
Worse are you entering hades whole body,
Than to enter heaven armless.
You see, God didn’t forsake this world;
The Father didn’t leave us starless.
Instead God shed His light,
Giving us His Son,
Now the truth can never be harnessed.
